Does Parental Income and Education Improve Academic Achievement? A Case of Public High School Students at Tangerang Municipality. Objectives: The study aims to examine the relationship between parents' socioeconomic status academic achievement public high school students in City. Methods: This research is a cross-sectional survey 660 students—the primary data was obtained through questionnaire that has been tested for validity reliability. questionnaires were distributed participants using students' WhatsApp groups. author used binary logit regression model analysis. Findings: results showed significantly impacts on achievement. Parents with are more likely improve their child's results. Meanwhile, composition contributes dominantly increasing father's income education mother's education, but not asset. Conclusion: Thus, one determinants condition parents. this provide only an expansion science economics literature also empirical implications parents secondary policymakers.
